Gallery A.S Opening in Sydney

The opening reception for Gallery A.S. in the old Paramount Pictures headquarters in Surry Hills Sydney  launched their latest exhibition, which explores the junction of art and the moving image.  Motion / Pictures exploits and explores movie culture through various narratives such as sci-fi or video tape. Curated by Joseph Allen Shea, the show features Daniel Askill,  Andrew Long and Mel O’Callaghan. Jacob Ciocci presents lo-fi video Dark Green, while Anthony Lister’s rough-edged super heroes also make a showing. Be sure to catch Tim Moore’s contribution of slick embroidery, as well as  Dan Moynihan‘s immersive environmental installations and of course, the graphite-loving Sam Smith. STOLEN Rum were proud to supply refreshments to the creative crowd.
