Stolen Rum Party

Exactly four months after releasing a white rum variant, Stolen Rum held their official launch party in June of 2010. The ten handpicked bartenders from around New Zealand were flown to Auckland for the night to assist with cocktail making and to launch the gold rum. Soft furnishings from a retro era with lamps, luggage and art to match, were draped over the concrete floors and walls of the stark shipping container-like space. The roaring fireplace along with the selection of five winter cocktails gave both the needed warmth, and ambience during the cold and wet winter night. Images by Anthony Ikinofolo.
